Back to School
After a fun-filled summer, the school year was about to start and the students living in this loft need to come home to a good place to study. They asked New York at Home (NYAH) to help get their home back into shape in under 8 hours.
We spent an hour together to brainstorm about what was bothering them the most: lack of privacy (a new apartment was built next door), a clothing rack for special events, and furniture that came with this multi-year sublet.
Over the next few days, privacy decals were installed with water (the shades are up for the first time in months), the clothing rack was relocated and an armoire is on order, and some furniture was moved to off-site storage.
When we met up to collaborate again, there was more space to put all the items that had accumulated during summer adventures. This made it easy to do another round of editing and make further adjustments to the layout. We also hung art and provided donation services with plenty of time to spare.
Custom solutions that we brainstorm together can accomplish your goals in a fraction of the time.
